On behalf of Alistair and myself I would
like to pass on our thanks to all you brave marshals out there who dared to turn
up at Anglesey to sign on at 8.00am,
knowing how bad the weather forecast was
going to be.... It wasn't as bad as those weather forecasters forecasted for us,
although it was bad, particularly after dinner.
The racing was as good as we
thought it would be.. thanks Ian, all you officials were fantastic hope you
enjoyed yourselves as much as we did (in the dry warm race control).
We look forward to meeting up with you at Training Day and/or the BRSCCNW Dinner
Dance.
Have a fantastic chrimbo and new year. Jan Gower
Our thanks to Steve Jones for

Rory Butcher was unlucky at the start of race
two. He had careered across the grass from turn one, all the way to the
Banking in a
"will he or won't he stop moment", he did in fact stop. Unfortunately Jeff
Hodgson managed to then spin his Van Diemen RF02 and reversed into the Scot.

Racing MX5s' obviously think that their pop up headlights would cause drag
- their back lights were on though - as "night racing" returned to Trac Mon
for the first time since December 2005.Seen in the background are just
four of the hardy bunch of BRSCC NW Marshals,
without who this sort of event just couldn't happen. Thanks folks.

a stunning first day in car racing for the Heywood driver.

Eventual winner David Pearce No.31 heads James
Sharrock No.33 and Simon Young No.23 in the early stages of the second Caterham
race.
2nd and 3rd places were reversed by the flag.

Tommy Dreelan brought his Porsche 997 GT3 down
from Aberdeen and battled mightily with Robert Pritchard's Caterham Vauxhall
and the similar 997 GT3 of Jake Rosenzweig and Ian Bankhurst's Radical -
the latter two out of shot.
Tommy took the win in the first Sports and Saloon Group A race, with
Robert second.
Mr Pritchard had quite a good day with 2nd in
the first Libre Race, before winning both second races
