The BRSCC North Western Centre held there annual dinner dance on Saturday 5th March at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton, Nr Warrington. The evening is a thank you to everyone involved in the BRSCC North Western Club, the marshals and other people who helped run the racing events at Oulton Park and Anglesey through 2009, also it allows us the chance to see the winners collected the BRSCC North Western awards, plus championship trophies in the North Western Club Formula Ford 1600 Championship and the XR Challenge.

The feedback from the 190 plus people there mentioned it was one of the best of all the dinners over the years and the BRSCC North West Committee would like too give a big thank-you to Gill and Ray Sumner for taking over the organisation of the event after Jan Gower was unable to continue her brilliant work over the years due to personal reasons. Our thanks also to Graham Lindley and family who arranged the collection of the auction and raffles prizes kindly sent by all including going to Silverstone at 7.00am on the Thursday before the event to collect a front wing from a A1 racing car for the blind auction plus most of the afternoon of Saturday setting the room up for the evening and the team at the Park Royal Hotel for ensuring everything was in place for the event.

This year with the help of all the Auction and Raffle prizes kindly donated you raised over £2000 towards the BRSCC North Western Rescue Unit which is an amazing result in these hard times and we thank everyone who kindly sent something and the for everyone on the evening putting there hand in pocket for the blind auction and raffle prizes.

On behalf of the North Western committee we are truly gratefully to everyone who help with the event and the amount of Marshals, Drivers and Teams who attended the event. Below are some pictures from the evening and our congratulation to all the winners.
