Marshalling is for anybody who is interested in, or wants to be involved in Motorsport. You don't need any special skills or qualifications, just common sense and a reasonable sense of self preservation.

The links below will take you to the newsletters from the new editor of British Marshal Motorsport Club and information of how to get involved

April 19th Oulton Park
Thanks to the Marshals who put up with the short lunch break and so enabled all competitors to get their race even if by the skin of the clerk of course's teeth.

Hi Tom,

Just a quick note to thank you and the Centre Officials and  Marshals for running the above event.

From the outset this was a tough timetable, due to the ever increasing demand to run at Oulton (in particular on the International circuit) by competitors and championships.  I know we ran up to curfew, but appreciate all the hard work that went into achieving this and competitors being sent home having received their full allocation of race distance.

Best regards
Drew Furlong

Competitions Director

The club has its own marshalling service which it relies heavily upon in order to complete its quota of race meetings at both circuits throughout the year. You don't have to be a member of the club to be a marshal but in doing so you will gain the benefits given to all the members as shown on the membership page, as well as enjoying some fantastic weekends of motor racing.

Whatever part of the country you are in, there is a circuit near you that needs your help, if you have the time to volunteer at the weekends have a closer look at the UK Marshals Website
