West FF1600 Prize Drives During
the 2002 season, two team principals very kindly offered tests
for the two class winners in that season’s NW FF1600
Championship. John Gray of DACS – sponsor of the ARP F3
series – and patron of Grays Motorsport offered a days
testing in one of their Dallara F3 cars. John Loebell of
Medina Sport offered the same prize in one of his Zetec
Formula Fords. Attached details and pictures from the days
testing.

Anglesey Star Series 2003

Brookside Garage, Cemaes Bay
FF1600 Anglesey Star Series
Thanks to Richard Peacock and Bodorgan Estates, the Anglesey
Star series continues into 2003 with a £2000 prize fund.
New for this season is a local sponsor for the series in Brookside
Garage, Cemaes Bay
The normal points scoring scale applies. The series is for
Class A, but there will be a cash prize for the best Pre87
driver. The BRSCC meetings at Anglesey Circuit, on 12/13
April, and 9/10
August {both rounds of the Opal Telecom North West FF1600
series} and the Leinster Motor Club meeting on 11 May will
comprise a six race mini series.

All four positions will also receive a voucher for a free

who's accident on Saturday 9th, Anglesey Race Circuit left him
without a drive on the Sunday. "Hello Andrew, just to
thank you for your help and understanding over the weekend.
Every one was great and it really helped. Please add a note of
thanks to the marshals, rescue unit, doctors and nurse for all
the excellent treatment and support that I got and to thank
every one who helped me."

All three drivers in the picture below have moved to the
DACS ARP Formula 3 Championship and finished in the top three
positions in the race at Oulton Park 26th July well done to
them all.

Piquet was at Oulton Park for the F3/GT Weekend to watch his
son race in the F3 Championship and found time to have his
picture taken with Chief Pit Marshal Jan Gower.

Old and the New
BRSCC North Western say
good bye to there old Rescue Unit and replace it with a new
Mercedes 416 Sprinter, the new fully equipped unit was first
used at the 5th July race meeting at Oulton Park.

Annual Party Raffle and Auction Thanks
goes to everyone who arranged and organised the event, to everyone
who kindly donated the vast amount of raffle and auction prizes
which raised with extra inputs a total of £3800.00 for the BRSCC
North Western Rescue Unit.
