CLUB FORMULA FORD MANAGER APPOINTED
The BRSCC has appointed Kevin Shortis
as Manager for the revitalised and newly styled Club Formula Ford.
Confirming the appointment, BRSCC Chairman Bernard Cottrell said, "Kevin
Shortis brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of
healthy grids and a sound management style. The aim is to give the
drivers a format that works better for them".
Shortis said, "I am delighted to have been approached and will work very
hard to make Club Formula Ford take its rightful place in 2006 motor
racing. A series of meetings will be arranged for interested parties to
have their input and then an agreed course of action can be put in place
for 2006. A strong feature already being considered is full television
coverage on terrestrial and satellite outlets".
For further information contact Kevin Shortis on 01323 423767 or 07801
