  • Volunteering Form 2006 BRSCC North Western have sent me the latest and hopefully the final volunteering form for all events at Oulton Park and Anglesey Race Circuit please use the form attached keeping a copy for your own purpose and forward to David Cleaveley by post or email to the address at the bottom of the form.   • Urgent change of Marshal Training Dates I have been informed by BMMC that due to a complication at Oulton Park on the 11th and 12th of February they have had to make a difficult  decision to bring both of the training days forward by one week, to Saturday 4th February for Observers and Flags, and Sunday 5th February for all other training, all volunteering forms that have been already posted to Andy Holley will be valid for the new date and a letter to all those who have responded so far will be sent in due course informing them of the date change and details of start times, e-mail's will be sent by return informing them the same information to anyone who emailed him the forms, anyone who ahs not booked please click on the marshalling link below for details of the event, new forms, grading information and contact details for Andy Holley for any further details.

  • CLUB FORMULA FORD MANAGER APPOINTED The BRSCC has appointed Kevin Shortis as Manager for the revitalised and newly styled Club Formula Ford.
    Confirming the appointment, BRSCC Chairman Bernard Cottrell said, "Kevin Shortis brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of healthy grids and a sound management style. The aim is to give the drivers a format that works better for them".
    Shortis said, "I am delighted to have been approached and will work very hard to make Club Formula Ford take its rightful place in 2006 motor racing. A series of meetings will be arranged for interested parties to have their input and then an agreed course of action can be put in place for 2006. A strong feature already being considered is full television coverage on terrestrial and satellite outlets".

  • Pictures from Gold Cup Oulton Park The 28th/29th August Weekend was the HSCC Gold cup event below are some pictures of the very large grids in the Derek Bell Trophy and two full grids of open and closed wheel chevron celebrating their 40 year anniversary also the marshals on Sunday Morning came to together at Bailey Bridge Marshals Post and with the help of Barry Williams unveiled a plaque remembering a observer who on that post 25 years ago lost his life when a car left the track in racing incident and a picture taken of Brian Redman who still after this time has still not lost that touch finishing in the top three in the chevron races.

  • Ferrari on the Barrier at Druids Pictures show the BRSCC team at work dealing with the recovery of the Ferrari that ended up on top of the barrier at Druids on Sunday's meeting at Oulton Park are thanks goes to everyone involved in sorting out the incident and for there efforts over the two day meeting.   • North Western Rescue unit training The BRSCC North Western Rescue unit will be very busy this year attending most of the motor racing events around the country and part of there extensive training the team spent a day using there skills and the tools available in cutting some willing people out of cars and we hope that this is the only time that they will need to do this as season approaches.

    The BRSCC North Western Centre annual dinner was held on Saturday 5th March 2005 at the Hanover International Hotel Warrington. At the Dinner we will held a raffle and auction to raise money towards new equipment for our Rescue Unit which was purchased new in 2003, our thanks to everyone involved with the event and a big thank you to all the people who kindly supplied the items for the raffle and auction if you would like to know more about the event or help in anyway please look and the links below.
